Admissions Requirements
Listed below are some of the specific requirements that Texas School of Business has established for admission. Our dedicated team of Admissions Representatives will answer any questions you have about our requirements or procedures.
An applicant to Texas School of Business must meet one of the following standards:
- Be a high school graduate
- Possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate
- Possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state
Evidence of high school graduation or equivalent must be presented to Texas School of Business in one of the following forms:
- Certified copy of an original high school diploma
- Copy of a high school transcript indicating the date of high school graduation
- GED certificate or official notification that a GED has been earned
- College transcript indicating the date of high school graduation
- Evidence from other official sources may be acceptable if you attended high school in a foreign country; ask an Admissions Representative for details
You must complete the required admissions documents and submit the necessary fee(s) stated on the Tuition and Fee Schedule. Financial arrangements, including applications for financial aid, must be completed prior to starting classes.
You must complete an informational interview. We encourage you to bring your parents or spouse so they can share the experience and offer support. We also encourage you to tour our campus and become familiar with our facilities prior to starting classes.
You must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. All courses are taught in English.
If you are applying for credit for previous education, training, work experience (experiential learning), or CLEP, your application must be submitted prior to the first day of the course for which the transfer credit is requested. This may require testing by examination to determine credit for previous education, training, or work experience.
You must complete an enrollment agreement. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian must sign the enrollment application.
A criminal background check may be required prior to starting your externship, if applicable, or taking certain licensing, certification, or registration exams. Ask an Admissions Representative for more information.
Upon completion of all admissions requirements, Texas School of Business will review the information and inform you in writing whether you have been accepted for enrollment.
